Delta Flight From JFK To SFO Makes Emergency Landing In Ohio

SAN FRANCISCO INT'L AIRPORT (KPIX 5) – A Delta Air Lines flight from New York to San Francisco arrived safely in the Bay Area early Thursday morning, after it was forced to make an emergency landing.

Delta Flight 425 left JFK Airport Wednesday afternoon. About 90 minutes into the flight, the plane was diverted to Columbus, Ohio.

According to the airline, there was an issue with the plane's left engine.

About 125 passengers and crew were on board, the airline said.

When the plane arrived in Columbus, passengers and crew switched to another plane and continued their journey. The plane landed at SFO around 2:00 a.m.

There were no reports of injuries.
