1 Killed On Hwy 85 In Mountain View When SUV Strikes Tree
MOUNTAIN VIEW (CBS SF) -- At least one person is dead Sunday morning on northbound state Highway 85 in Mountain View, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The first report of the incident on state Highway 85 just south of El Camino Real came in at 5:10 a.m. A vehicle struck a tree and may have struck a wall, according to the CHP's Golden Gate Communications Center.
One lane of the highway was blocked for more than an hour.
