Dead Frog Reportedly Found In Bag Of Organic Spinach Leaves
COVINA (CBS) — A Southern California woman reportedly claims to have found a dead frog in a bag of prepackaged spinach she bought at a local big-box retailer.
Donna Souza, of Covina, says she was "disgusted" to see a pair of frog legs in a bag of baby spinach leaves she purchased from Salinas-based Taylor Farms, according to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
Souza says she bought the spinach at a Sam's Club in Glendora. According to the label on the bag, the spinach leaves were reportedly organic and triple washed.
