Dead Bodies Found In Mill Valley Backyards Identified By Marin County Coroner's Office

MILL VALLEY (CBS SF) -- The Marin County coroner's office has identified the men who were found dead in two backyards in Mill Valley this week as Theodore Charles Rodden, 61, of Mill Valley and Andreas Kreiden, 41, of Calistoga.

Rodden was found Wednesday evening in the backyard of a shared lot for 154 and 152 Carlotta Circle, and Kreiden was found Thursday morning in the backyard of 152 Carlotta Circle, coroner's office Lt. Keith Boyd said.

The Marin County Sheriff's Office believes the deaths are related to each other and there is no ongoing threat or danger to the community, Boyd said.

The sheriff's office has been investigating what it believes was a murder-suicide. A rifle was found beside Kreiden's body, the sheriff's office said.
