Daughter Of Eddie DeBartolo Tweets 'Jed York Has To Go'
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- The daughter of former San Francisco 49ers owner Eddie DeBartolo Jr. has apparently joined the chorus of demoralized 49ers Faithful by pinning blame for the team's losing ways on her cousin, current owner Jed York.
A tweet purportedly belonging to the account of Lisa DeBartolo read "Jed York has to go," and linked to a Press Democrat story headlined in the same way. Another tweet from the same account linked to a San Francisco Chronicle story titled, "Losing has become 49ers' new normal."
The tweets have been since deleted, but were screen-captured before deletion by 49ers beat writer Jennifer Lee Chan.

York, as well as General Manager Trent Baalke, have become lightning rods of criticism from 49ers fans dismayed over the current state of the five-time Super Bowl champions and the years of losing under their stewardship.
The 49ers, under new head coach Chip Kelly, have started out with a record of 1-5 this season. At this time last season under first-year head coach Jim Tomsula, the 49ers were 2-4, on the way to a 5-11 record.
The team's record under Tomsula's predecessor, Jim Harbaugh, was 44-19-1 during his four seasons as head coach.
Since 2000, when the York family took ownership of the team, the 49ers have had only five winning seasons.
