Daly City Police Seek Help In Finding Missing Developmentally Disabled Girl

DALY CITY (CBS SF) -- Police are seeking the public's help in finding a missing teen who is considered 'at risk' because she is developmentally disabled.

Authorities say 16-year-old Destiny Peoples has been missing since Sunday.

At about 7:30 p.m. she left on foot in an unknown direction from her home in the Serramonte area. According to police, she was last seen wearing a maroon shirt with an owl insignia on the front, a cheetah print scarf, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Destiny is 5'3", weighs 150 pounds, has brown eyes, black hair and has acne.

Destiny is known to frequent the Serramonte Mall, Gellert Park and the Serramonte library.
