Daly City Fire Trucks Collide While Responding To Call, 2 Firefighters Hurt

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Two Daly City firefighters were hospitalized on Wednesday after the fire trucks they were driving in collided with each other.

According to North County Fire Inspector Klaus Zolinskis, the trucks collided near Brunswick Street and Crocker Avenue around 9:30 a.m. Authorities said the trucks were both responding to a call for service.

The firefighters were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Crews took several hours to clear the wreckage from the scene.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the cause of the crash is under investigation.
