Daily Madden: Rodgers Wins Latest Battle Of Elite QB

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) - Quarterback Aaron Rodgers led the Packers to a 26-21 victory over another playoff-bound team in Green Bay Sunday.

"It was one of those things that you look forward to, and you look forward to it because of Aaron Rodgers and (New England Patriots quarterback) Tom Brady," John Madden told the KCBS Radio morning crew. "And they did their part. And they have a little running game going now."

Both teams lead their divisions with 9-3 records, and there's a good chance they'll meet again in the Super Bowl.

"They were talking about the two coaches -- McCarthy and Belichick -- being elite coaches. And kind of elite quarterbacks make elite coaches, don't they?"

Brady was 22 of 35 for 245 yards with no interceptions. Rodgers was 24-38 for 368 yards and no interceptions. (6:40)
