Daily Madden: John Is No Fan Of NFL Uniform Trends
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - When the Bills meet the Dolphins in Miami Thursday night, the Dolphins will be dressed in all-aqua uniforms.
"I don't like that, that's not a football thing, that's not a football color," John Madden told the KCBS Radio morning crew. "I know that things are changing, times are changing, uniforms are changing, combinations of colors are changing. But there are some things that kind of go with football and some things that kind of don't go with football. And I don't think that all-aqua, full-aqua, is a football thing."
John said there are some ways to make any uniform look good.
"You go back to the '72 Dolphins, you know, and that was a great uniform because they were undefeated. And that will usually make a uniform look great -- the guys you put in it, and then the record of the guys you put in it." (6:15)
