SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Lucky Supermarket is investigating after a customer claims they found live cockroaches inside a package of sushi at a San Francisco location.

The customer purchased the sushi at the Lucky Supermarket at 1750 Fulton Street in San Francisco just before 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Lucky Spokeswoman Nannette Miranda said in a statement that "Food safety is our top priority at Lucky.  We have launched a full investigation into the situation and have pulled all of the sushi provided by this vendor off of the shelves of the nine stores they supply."
