Crews Control 2-Alarm Fire At Twin Peaks Apartment In San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Fire crews knocked down a two-alarm fire at a Twin Peaks apartment building in San Francisco Friday morning, according to San Francisco fire officials.

The second alarm was called for the blaze at 4:40 a.m. in the 600 block of Corbett Avenue.

Dozens of people were temporarily forced out of their home. No injuries have been reported, but one apartment has major damage, according to fire officials.

Neighbors believe the fire accidentally started on the third floor from an unattended candle. The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
