Crash Blocks Westbound Lanes On Dumbarton Bridge

NEWARK (CBS SF) -- A crash on the Dumbarton Bridge Monday morning backed up traffic for miles.

The crash was initially reported at around 7 a.m. on the westbound lanes. Traffic was backed up past the bridge toll plaza and all the way back to Paseo Padre Parkway/Thornton Ave. in Newark.

The crash was reported cleared as of 10:40 a.m. but residual traffic remained. There was no word on the circumstances of the crash.
