Couple Found Dead In Milpitas Park From Possible Murder-Suicide Identified

MILPITAS (CBS SF) -- A man and woman found dead of gunshot wounds in a park in Milpitas on Friday have been identified by the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office as Yim Pruett, 57, and James Pruett, 60.

Medical examiner's officials said that both died from gunshot wounds to the head, Yim Pruett via suicide and James Pruitt in an
as-yet-undetermined manner.

The bodies of the Milpitas residents were found in Hidden Lake Park after police were dispatched there at about 1 p.m. Friday, according to police.

Police were called to the park in the 800 block of North Milpitas Boulevard by witnesses who reported an incident in progress.

Officers then searched the area and found the couple's bodies, police said.
