Contra Costa County Supes Tighten Rules On Secondhand Smoke
EL CERRITO (CBS) -- Contra Costa County's Board of Supervisors passed a strict new smoking ordinance Tuesday.
State law already prohibits smoking within 20-feet of doorways and government buildings.
The new ordinance also bans smoking anywhere on property that's owned or leased by the county, including parking lots.
The rules also apply to the smoking of medical marijuana and e-cigarettes.
