Power Issues Lead To Early Morning BART Delays

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- BART is reporting trains have resumed normal service between Dublin/Pleasanton and Castro Valley with minimal delays Thursday morning.

BART officials were reporting limited service on the line due to ongoing power issues.

Just after 5 a.m., BART reported service had stopped between Fremont and Bay Fair in the Fremont, Richmond and Daly City directions due to an equipment problem on the track.

The major delays were initially attributed to an earlier power loss, but power has since been restored between Bay Fair and Fremont.
