Coast Guard Rescues Duck Boat Near McCovey Cove In San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- U.S. Coast Guard crews helped tow away a tour boat that broke down near San Francisco's McCovey Cove on Tuesday afternoon.

The Coast Guard received a report around 12:30 p.m. that a vessel from the Ride the Ducks tour boat company had steam coming from its engine compartment near the cove located outside of AT&T Park.

The Coast Guard sent a 45-foot rescue boat and a helicopter to the scene to assist. The boat was eventually towed to San Francisco's Pier 54 and all 36 passengers on board safely disembarked.
