CHP Officers Rescue Ducklings From Storm Drain Near Golden Gate Bridge

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- CHP officers rescued a group of ducklings stuck in a storm drain near the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco Wednesday.

California Highway Patrol Spokesperson Andrew Barclay says an officer was parked at Vista Point when a motorist pulled up and told the officer there was a duck pacing near a storm drain.

Another officer arrived to assist, and the ducklings were located in a storm drain.  One of the officers climbed into the drain and was able to rescue the ducklings using a box made for flares.
