Chow Down On a'BiBim Bap Burrito' For a Quick Downtown Lunch

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - Located in San Francisco's Financial District and nestled on Battery Street between Bush and Pine you will find John's Snack & Deli, Korean Food & Kimchi Burritos.

On most days, you will see a line form outside their doors, much like the infamous "soup Nazi" episode on "Seinfeld" but these guys are quite a bit more friendly. Menu signage was visible from the outside, to better prepare yourself and streamline your way through the lunch crowd. If you couldn't figure out what to order (like myself) you can always consult the friendly person behind the counter.

After speaking to the man himself, John, the friendly owner, I selected the "BiBim Bap Burrito" for a reasonable $8.95. Most spots serve their burritos with rice inside, but in the case of John's, his burrito stepped it up a notch with rice noodles instead.

Don't be intimidated, but their "BiBim Bap Burrito" is incredibly large. It may be a good idea to eat half for lunch and the other half for dinner. Always a good thing.

There is no seating at John's but at Market and Battery, tables and chairs are provided at the nearby outdoor plaza, replete with charging stations for your mobile devices. Don't miss out on this spot for lunch, it might be a bad move.

Go there and let me know how pleased you are. They're open early on weekdays for breakfast at 7:00am to 5:00pm for a great late afternoon lunch. They also cater.
