Charlie Puth Cancels Remainder Of Tour, Citing Illness

SAN JOSE (CBS SF/AP) – Charlie Puth is canceling the remainder of his tour due to illness.

The singer said on Twitter Sunday that he has been "extremely sick" during the tour and hasn't taken the time he needs to recover. He says "resting and taking time off the road" is the only way he can get better and resume performing.

The "Don't Talk Tour" began in September and had been scheduled to run through the City National Civic in San Jose on November 7th and complete on November 8th at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.

His last performance was this past Saturday, Oct. 22 at CBS Radio's We Can Survive concert in Los Angeles. No word on when the 'Don't Talk' tour will be rescheduled.
