Central Valley Family Says Relative Was Among Christians Abducted By ISIS In Syria
MODESTO (CBS) — A Central Valley couple said they believe their brother was among as many as 150 Christians abducted from a village by Islamic State militants.
The Modesto couple said they were notified by a Syrian neighbor that at least five of their family members were taken.
Sharlet David and her husband didn't want to give her brother's name in fear it could be used by the group. They also told KOVR-TV in Sacramento they haven't reported the kidnapping to the U.S. government for the same reason.
