CBS, Millions Of Americans To Go Purple For Spirit Day To Show Support For LGBT Youth

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- CBS and millions of others around the country will go purple to show support for LGBT youth, and take a stand against bullying Thursday.

8 out of 10 LGBT students reported experiencing harassment frequently in school.  GLAAD organized the first Spirit Day in 2010.

Students, schools, celebrities, and parents will wear purple for the day to show support.
