Caught On Video: Sideshow In Mission District After Giants Reach World Series

SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) -- As Giants fans celebrated the team's upcoming trip to the World Series late Thursday night, drivers stopped traffic in San Francisco's Mission District for a sideshow.

The video posted on YouTube showed several drivers in sports cars, including Camaros and a Corvette, doing donuts near Fair Avenue and Mission Street.

According to a KPIX 5 viewer, the sideshow went on for about 15 minutes until police showed up.

The San Francisco Police Department said celebrations following the Giants winning their third National League Pennant in five years were relatively peaceful throughout the city.

One notable incident of violence involved a person suffering a broken nose and a gunshot being fired during a fight near AT&T Park.
