Carjacked Meals On Wheels Truck Crashes In Castro Valley After Pursuit
CASTRO VALLEY (CBS SF) -- Fremont police pursued a carjacked Meals on Wheels truck to a highway on-ramp in Castro Valley Thursday morning where the truck overturned, blocking traffic, Fremont police said.
Fremont police first received reports of the carjacking in downtown Fremont at 10:18 a.m.
Officers found the truck and chased the driver through Union City and Hayward until the truck flipped on the Redwood Road on-ramp to Interstate Highway 580 in Castro Valley, police said.
Two suspects, a male and female, were arrested at the crash scene.

Tow-truck crews were able to set the truck upright and remove it at around 11:30 a.m. The on-ramp reopened shortly afterwards.
