Caltrain Strikes Tow Truck In Burlingame

BURLINGAME (CBS SF) – Caltrain is experiencing delays Monday morning after a train struck a tow truck in Burlingame.

At 8:27 a.m., the northbound train struck a tow truck at Broadway and California Drive near the Broadway station, according to Caltrain officials.

The train sustained minor damage as a result of the incident, but no one was injured, Caltrain officials said.

The tow truck has since been removed.

Latest KCBS Traffic Conditions

Tracks have been cleared with trains traveling at a 10 mph speed restriction in the area, according to Caltrain officials.
