Firefighters Quickly Extinguish Grass Fire Along Delta De Anza Trail In Pittsburg

PITTSBURG (CBS SF) -- Crews have extinguished a small grass fire along the Delta de Anza Regional Trail in Pittsburg, according to a Contra Costa County Fire Protection District dispatcher.

The one-alarm fire was reported at 2:33 p.m. in a grassy area near Lynbrook Drive, according to fire district officials.

Crews were able to get the fire under control in about 15 minutes, according to the dispatcher.

No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported.

Information about what caused the blaze was not immediately available.
