Cal Student Sexually Assaulted On Campus In Broad Daylight

BERKELEY (CBS SF) -- Police are investigating another sex assault on the University of California, Berkeley campus.

A female Cal student told investigators she was walking through the Oxford parking lot, near the intersection of Hearst Avenue and Oxford Street, on Sunday afternoon when a man grabbed her and sexually assaulted her.

University of California police and Berkeley police are both investigating the assault and have not yet provided the public with a suspect description.

UC police issued a campus crime alert on Wednesday and are asking any witnesses to come forward.
