Brush Fire Burning South Of Petaluma 50% Contained
PETALUMA (CBS SF) -- Cal Fire units in the North Bay said a wildland fire burning along the Lakeville Highway south of Petaluma was 50 percent contained early Friday evening, according to authorities.
Cal Fire tweeted about the fire at 4 p.m. The fire is burning on the 4500 block of Lakeville Highway south of Petaluma in Sonoma County.

The so-called Lakeville Fire was initially reported to be 20 acres and 0% contained.
Shortly before 6 p.m., Cal Fire updated the situation and said the fire was 50 percent contained and had grown to about 125 acres. Forward progress had been stopped.
