Bus Catches Fire While Carrying USF Students To Sierra Ski Trip

TRUCKEE (CBS SF) -- A bus carrying students from the University of San Francisco caught fire on the way to the Lake Tahoe area Saturday, a parent of one of the students reported.

Teresa Gallo posted on Facebook that her daughter was on a ski trip when the bus caught fire on I-80.

Nobody was hurt in the fire, but traffic in the area was delayed.

The California Highway Patrol shared a picture of the smoldering bus on its Facebook page.

My daughter, Julia, was going on a USF ski trip this am when her bus caught on fire on hwy 80. All got out and are ok. She has no shoes or coat on but thank God ok.
