Building Being Demolished In San Francisco Partially Collapses

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Firefighters responded to debris falling from a building scheduled for demolition in San Francisco's Financial District Monday morning, a fire dispatcher said.

A partial building collapse was reported at 8:20 a.m. near the corner of Pine and Montgomery streets, according to the fire department.

A debris pile was pushing into the street. Firefighters have since left the area and the city's Department of Building Inspection is investigating the incident.

No other damages or injuries were reported.
