Brushfire Shuts Down Lanes On WB Hwy 80 In Vallejo

VALLEJO (CBS SF) -- One lane of westbound Interstate Highway 80 in Vallejo is expected to remain closed for most of Wednesday morning as firefighters clean up after a brush fire burned near the highway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The fire was reported at 6:27 a.m. near the Magazine Street off-ramp, CHP officials said.

Two lanes were initially blocked but as of about 8:20 a.m., only the far right lane remains closed along with the Maritime Street on-ramp. The lane and ramp are expected to remain closed until about 11:30 a.m. while fire  crews clean up, according to the CHP.
