Fire In Santa Rosas Trione-Annadel State Park Contained
SANTA ROSA (CBS SF) -- Firefighters were able to contain a vegetation fire in Trione-Annadel State Park in Santa Rosa at three acres burned Thursday, the Santa Rosa Fire Department said.
The Santa Rosa Fire Department, Cal Fire and the Sonoma County Fire District responded to the fire just south of state Highway 12 at the northern edge of the Sonoma Valley shortly before 10 a.m.
It was burning adjacent to Spring Lake Regional Park and both entrances to Spring Lake park were closed.
The fire was about 30 miles from the huge Kincade Fire which exploded overnight in size to more than 10,000 acres.

Fire officials said about three acres had burned as of 10:50 a.m. and the size had not grown over the next 40 minutes.
At around 12:30 p.m., Santa Rosa Fire tweeted that the fire had been contained. Firefighters were remaining on the scene to extinguish hot spots.
