Bright Red 'Tuna Crabs' Invading Beaches Of SoCal
Thousands of bright red tuna crabs measuring one to three inches long have appeared along the shoreline of Huntington and Imperial Beaches.
The same thing happened last June.
The Orange County Register reports they're being pushed northward by a current and lingering warm waters from El Nino.
The crabs aren't good eating. They don't have much meat - and smell pretty bad when they're dead.
