Bose Outlet Burglary Suspect Arrested In Petaluma

PETALUMA (CBS SF) -- Petaluma police arrested a Santa Rosa area man for an alleged burglary at the Bose outlet store on Sunday.

Nathan Verrill, 38, around 6:20 p.m., allegedly took merchandise from the stereo and electronics store at the Petaluma Village Premium Outlets, located at 2200 Petaluma Blvd. N., Petaluma police Sgt. Andrew Urton said.

He allegedly tried to flee with the items. Store employees chased after Verrill and recovered the merchandise, Urton said.

Verrill then apparently tried to change his appearance by discarding his jacket, but a California Highway Patrol helicopter that was in the area advised Petaluma of Verrill's location, Urton said.

Verrill again tried to flee, but store employees chased him until police took him into custody, Urton said.

Verrill was booked into the Sonoma County Jail under $15,000 bail on suspicion of burglary and on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant, Urton said.
