SAN RAMON (CBS SF) -- Bomb squad personnel determined a suspicious device that prompted the evacuation of a shopping center in San Ramon was not a threat late Tuesday morning, according to police.

Police received a call at 8 a.m. regarding a suspicious device in the area of 3110 Crow Canyon Place. Officers arrived at the location at 8:04 a.m. and evacuated people from the area, according to San Ramon police Capt. Denton Carlson.

Police said on social media that the device was described to them as a "pressure cooker with exposed wires."
