Bob Dylan MusiCares Person of the Year Concert Adds Bruce Springsteen and More

Part of GRAMMY weekend is the annual MusiCares Person of the Year concert, particularly notable this year because it will be honoring Bob Dylan. As you can imagine, a concert honoring Bob Dylan can produce quite the lineup.

Previously announced for the event were Beck, The Black Keys, Crosby, Stills & Nash, John Doe, Norah Jones, Tom Jones, Los Lobos, John Mellencamp, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, Eddie Vedder, Jack White, and Neil Young.

Now, even more artists have been added to the bill, including Bruce Springsteen, Jackson Browne, Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi of the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Taj Mahal, Alanis Morissette, and Aaron Neville have been added to the event.

Previously honored by MusiCares have been Tony Bennett, Bono, Natalie Cole, Phil Collins, David Crosby, Neil Diamond, Gloria Estefan, Aretha Franklin, Don Henley, Billy Joel, Elton John, Quincy Jones, Carole King, Paul McCartney, Luciano Pavarotti, Raitt, Paul Simon, Springsteen, Sting, Barbra Streisand, James Taylor, Brian Wilson, Stevie Wonder, and Young.

So, Dylan is in some pretty solid company.

To cap it all off, former President Jimmy Carter will be handing out the award to Dylan.

The event takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Friday, February 6.
