OAKLAND (KCBS) -- A billboard with a picture of 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and the word "Patriotism" will reportedly be put up near the Bay Bridge.

The East Bay Times reports, activism outfit Courage Campaign announced plans Monday to commission a digital billboard, in response to recent police shootings in North Carolina and Oklahoma.

Courage Campaign Executive Director Eddie Kurtz wrote in a release that the organization's members stand with Kaepernick in his protest and will continue to fight against racism and police violence towards black people.

The billboard will reportedly be viewable to eastbound I-80 traffic exiting the Bay Bridge into Oakland.
