Benicia Toddler Hurt In Fall From Window

BENICIA (CBS SF) -- A 3-year-old child was injured in a fall from a window in Benicia on Friday evening, according to fire officials.

The child fell from a second-story window in the 400 block of Brentwood Drive around 8:40 p.m., fire officials said.

Fire crews transported the child by ground to a landing zone established in the 600 block of Hastings Drive, about a half-mile away from where the fall occurred, according to fire officials.

The child was taken by helicopter to UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland, fire officials said.
