Bears And 49ers Finish First Quarter 0-3 Passing

Even if you braced for the absolute worst heading into Sunday's game between the 1-10 49ers and the 2-9 Bears on Sunday in Chicago, somehow, the first quarter of this game still managed to underwhelm.

Inside a snowy, windy Soldier Field, both teams struggled mightily to get absolutely anything going on offense -- especially through the air.

In the first quarter, the Bears and 49ers' quarterbacks, Matt Barkley and Colin Kaepernick, combined to go 0-3 passing.

Mercifully, the streak of ineptitude ended when Kaepernick hit Vance McDonald for a short completion with just under eight minutes remaining in the second quarter.

Still, not great.
