Bear Cub Badly Burned In Washington Recovering After Stint In Tahoe Wildlife Facility

TAHOE (CBS SF) -- An injured bear cub who was recovering at a Lake Tahoe wildlife facility is going back home.

The bear named "Cinder" was rescued from Washington's Carlton Complex wildfire over the summer and airlifted to a wildlife care facility.

She was scared and malnourished when wildlife officials found her, and also suffering third-degree burns on her paws.

After months of rehabilitation, she will be released back into her habitat in the Spring.
