Bay Area Social Media Embraces #BeatLA

(CBS SF) - The Twitter-verse is buzzing all week with our own Bay Area sports organizations going up against Southern California teams. The week's treading hashtags in San Francisco were #BeatLA, #sweepLA, #SFGiants, San Jose, #DubNation and #Warriors.

The Oakland A's finished up their series with the Los Angeles Angels Wednesday night. Thursday afternoon, the San Francisco Giants hope to sweep and wrap up the third game in their series with the Los Angeles Dodgers at AT&T Park.

Game one of the Playoffs kicks off with the San Jose Sharks taking on the L.A. Kings Thursday night at SAP Center. On Wednesday, the Golden State Warriors ended their regular season by beating the Denver Nuggets. The 'Dubs are now headed to Southern California to face the L.A. Clippers in their second Western Conference playoff, starting Saturday afternoon.
