Bay Area Gets A Chance Of Rain By The End Of The Week

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS)— If it's going to look and feel like January in the month of May, then it may as well rain too. KCBS and KPIX Meteorologist Roberta Gonzales has a slight chance of rain in her forecast by the end of the week.

Given the drought conditions, the entire state has been experiencing, you've probably forgotten what the rain feels like, but don't get your hopes up too high— Roberta's forecast only has a slight chance of rain to accompany these cooler temperatures on Thursday for San Francisco and both Thursday and Friday for Oakland and parts of the East Bay.

The Peninsula may see rain on both of those days as well, with San Jose looking optimistically at a chance for Friday.

Novato and the North Bay have a similar chance of rain in the forecast. Get an hour-by-hour forecast for your zip code in the CBS San Francisco Weather Center.
