BART Service Resumes On Fremont Line After Tree Falls On Tracks

UNION CITY (CBS SF) -- Crews have cleared a fallen tree from the BART trackway between Union City and Fremont but delays are persisting Wednesday afternoon, BART officials said.

BART reported an obstruction disrupting service shortly after 2 p.m. Service was halted between Union City and Fremont.

Crews had removed the tree as of about 3:30 p.m. but there were still some delays of up to 20 minutes in the area.
