BART Recovers From Delay Between South Hayward, Union City Stations
HAYWARD (CBS SF) -- BART recovered from a major delay between the South Hayward and Union City stations Sunday night that was caused by an equipment problem on the track.
BART officials reported on Twitter at 9:10 p.m. that initially there was a 10-minute delay in the Richmond and Warm Springs directions.
As of 9:20 p.m. the issue had been upgraded to a major delay and trains were running over 30 minutes behind schedule.
BART officials announced that as of 10:32 p.m. trains were back up and running, with only a 15 minute delay.
