BART Installing Pop-Up Shops In All 44 Stations Around The Bay Area

SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) -- Retail shops are being installed in BART stations around the Bay Area, eventually allowing riders to do everything from buying makeup to dropping off laundry and dry cleaning.
Commuters may have noticed the pop-up shop that has been installed in Embarcadero and Montgomery Stations.
Eventually, all 44 BART stations will have the retail pods.
"It's real convenient. I like the idea makes one less stop for errands and such," rider April Antonio said.
The pods will vary in size depending on the station, and are designed to be modular so they can change the stores as needed.
