BART Bus Bridge Saving Riders Money
A one-way trip between North Concord / Martinez and the Pittsburg / Bay Point stations costs $2, or $4 for a round trip.
Riders between those stations have been forced to board buses to complete their trips, ever since a voltage spike knocked out about 50 cars Wednesday morning.
Riders aren't happy about the delays, but the extra cash is helping to ease the pain.

"Any means to save a little money is a big help," BART rider Paula said. She had to take the shuttle Monday. She's using the extra cash to get herself a treat. "Coffee – warm hot coffee," she said.
BART was still working Monday to resolve the power issue.
"We haven't gotten to the root of the problem," BART Spokesperson Alicia Trost said.
