Baby Herons Knocked Out Of Nest Released Back Into East Bay Marsh Land

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Some baby herons knocked out of their nests by a Bay Area tree trimmer were released back into the wild Saturday.

Apparently it would have been too difficult to try to reunite the two chicks with their colony.

So instead of returning to their original nesting spot near the Oakland post office, they were let loose in the marsh land along the shore.

Earlier this week the feds decided the tree trimmer will not face any charges.
