AT&T Park Reclaims Title As Most Vegetarian-Friendly Ballpark By PETA

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- San Francisco's AT&T Park has reclaimed its position as the most vegetarian-friendly ballpark in the nation, according to an annual survey of Major League Baseball stadiums by the group People for the Ethical Treatment
of Animals.

"While the Giants battle it out for the top spot in the National League standings, AT&T Park's vegetarian concessions have sent the stadium soaring into first place in PETA's national ranking," PETA associate director Ryan Huling said in a statement.

AT&T Park previously held PETA's top spot in 2011, 2006 and 2005.

The vegetarian-friendly cuisine available at the park includes meat-free frankfurters and artisan burgers by Field Roast, vegetable pot stickers, the Cha Cha Bowl containing rice, beans, veggies and pineapple salsa, tacos and burritos, baked potatoes with grilled veggies, and mushroom sandwiches.

The Giants will receive a framed certificate from PETA.

The group's Top 10 rankings of MLB ballparks are posted on it's website.
