Lanes Cleared After Multiple-Vehicle Crash Snarls Traffic On I-80

RICHMOND (CBS SF) -- At least 10 vehicles, including a bus, were involved in a crash on Interstate Highway 80 in Albany late Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at 10:50 a.m. on westbound Highway 80 near Golden Gate Fields, CHP Officer Sean Wilkenfeld said. Multiple ambulances were called to the scene but only minor injuries were reported.

Three lanes of westbound Highway 80 were closed for about an hour as crews cleared the scene, but all lanes were reopened by noon.
