Astronaut's 'Hello San Francisco' Tweet Shows Clear View Of Bay Area From Space Station

INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION (CBS SF) -- An Italian astronaut tweeted a hello greeting to the Bay Area Tuesday morning with a picture of her view of the Bay from the International Space Station.

Samantha Cristoforetti shared the clear view of the region, saying she could see the Golden Gate.

Cristoforetti's twitter feed is filled with pictures taken from space showing different regions around the world.
