A's Donaldson Turns Flub Into Fantastic Play
OAKLAND (CBS SF) - A's third basemen Josh Donaldson is doing his best to lift his team out of a month long slump.
On Sunday he blasted a walk-off homer in extra innings. He followed that up Monday night with a pretty slick play against Angels Catcher Chris Ianneta.
Iannetta hit a smash to third during the 7th inning of Monday night's game. Donaldson initially was unable to handle the ball, but his recovery is worth watching:
The play snuffed out a potential rally, and the A's got a much-needed 8-4 win.
